Northern Health is the primary provider of acute, sub-acute, and ambulatory specialist services in Melbourne’s northern region. This area, one of Victoria’s most significant growth corridors, is projected to see its population increase by 228,000 by 2031. The Northern Health catchment includes the rapidly growing local government areas of Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Nillumbik, Whittlesea, Mitchell, and Merri-bek. The community served is highly diverse, with residents hailing from 185 countries and speaking over 118 different languages.
